There was a Halloween party here in the Kirtland student center held on Thursday October 26. The festivities included a spookhouse, a costume contest, and of course, free food.
There were some great contests worn by the Kirtland Community College students and staff. Clowns, witches, the phantom of the opera, and more were found wandering campus on Thursday. The most creative costume that The Paper noticed was Josh Jurgess as the shoe tree seen on your way to Kirtland from St. Helen.
Congratulations to the winners of the costume contest Eric Dean, Rebecca Labush, and the previously mentioned Josh Jurgess.
The spookhouse was filled with skeletons, body parts, animals, and other creepy-crawlies. I managed my way through the spookhouse with no harm done, but some Kirtland students reported having nightmares afterward.
Thank you for throwing the party! This reporter thoroughly enjoyed it.
