Building a snowman

Most people have experienced making a snowman. How do they make a snowman? What do they use? Building a snowman is a tradition in cold countries because it can be fun for both adults and children. There are countless styles of snowmen across different cultures, but all of them follow the same basic principles. In Michigan, most people can see snowmen in their neighbors' front yard.
To make a snowman is easy, you just need snow, and some stuff to make limbs and face. Most students use a carrot for nose, buttons for eyes and body, sticks for arms, and scarf and mittens for accessories. These materials are necessary to make a traditional snowman. However, some people use unique materials for their snowmen. Christina Green, who is attending Kirtland Community College (KCC) says, "I use pickles for nose, twizzlers for mouth, and pop cans for ears." She makes her snowman funny and unique.
Cari Talarico, who is a student at KCC, says, "It's a good activity for children because it's an American tradition to go outside to make a snowman." Making a snowman is good for parents and their children because they can communicate with each other to create it. Of course, college students still have a fun. "It's fun to make a snowman," Green says. Most students make snowmen for fun. Once Michigan weather stays cold, most students build a snowman once because snowmen can survive all winter. However, some college students have not made one since they become college students. KCC student, Carl Molands says, "Last time I made a snowman was 7 years ago." When people grow up they get busy and do not have time for making snowmen.
